21|16|We created not the heaven and the earth, and whatsoever between them is, as playing;
21|17|had We desired to take to Us a diversion We would have taken it to Us from Ourselves, had We done aught.
3|191|who remember God, standing and sitting and on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: 'Our Lord, Thou hast not created this for vanity. Glory be to Thee! Guard us against the chastisement of the Fire.
23|115|What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?'
6|60|It is He who recalls you by night, and He knows what you work by day; then He raises you up therein, that a stated term may be determined; then unto Him shall you return, then He will tell you of what you have been doing.
39|42|God takes the souls at the time of their death, and that which has not died, in its sleep; He withholds that against which He has decreed death, but looses the other till a stated term. Surely in that are signs for a people who reflect. Or have they taken intercessors apart from God?
17|85|They will question thee concerning the Spirit. Say: 'The Spirit is of the bidding of my Lord. You have been given of knowledge nothing except a little.'
17|86|If We willed, We could take away that We have revealed to thee, then thou wouldst find none thereover to guard thee against Us,
6|50|Say: 'I do not say to you, "I possess the treasuries of God"; I know not the Unseen. And I say not to you, "I am an angel"; I only follow what is revealed to me. Say: 'Are the blind and the seeing man equal? Will you not reflect?'
7|188|Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself; or hurt, but as God will. Had I knowledge of the Unseen I would have acquired much good, and evil would not have touched me. I am only a warner, and a bearer of good tidings, to a people believing.'
5|104|And when it is said to them, 'Come now to what God has sent down, and the Messenger, they say, 'Enough for us is what we found our fathers doing.' What, even if their fathers had knowledge of naught and were not guided?
40|15|Exalter of ranks is He, Possessor of the Throne, casting the Spirit of His bidding upon whomever He will of His servants, that he may warn them of the Day of Encounter,
8|24|O believers, respond to God and the Messenger when He calls you unto that which will give you life; and know that God stands between a man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be mustered.
53|38|That no soul laden bears the load of another,
53|39|and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured,
53|40|and that his labouring shall surely be seen,
53|41|then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense,
53|42|and that the final end is unto thy Lord,
53|43|and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep,
53|44|and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live,
53|45|and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female,
53|46|of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth,
53|47|and that upon Him rests the second growth,
53|48|and that it is He who gives wealth and riches,
53|49|and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius,
5|108|So it is likelier that they will bear testimony in proper form, or else they will be afraid that after their oaths, oaths may be rebutted. Fear God, and hearken; God guides not the people of the ungodly.
17|15|Whosoever is guided, is only guided to his own gain, and whosoever goes astray, it is only to his own loss; no soul laden bears the load of another. We never chastise, until We send forth a Messenger.
13|11|he has attendant angels, before him and behind him, watching over him by God's command. God changes not what is in a people, until they change what is in themselves. Whensover God desires evil for a people, there is no turning it back; apart from Him, they have no protector.
42|30|Whatever affliction may visit you is for what you own hands have earned; and He pardons much.
6|160|Whoso brings a good deed shall have ten the like of it; and whoso brings an evil deed shall only be recompensed the like of it; they shall not be wronged.
55|60|Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness?
39|10|Say: 'My servants who believe, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world good, and God's earth is wide. Surely the patient will be paid their wages in full without reckoning.'
35|10|Whosoever desires glory, the glory altogether belongs to God. To Him good words go up, and the righteous deed -- He uplifts it; but those who devise evil deeds -- theirs shall be a terrible chastisement, and their devising shall come to naught.
17|72|And whosoever is blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, and he shall be even further astray from the way.
21|47|And We shall set up the just balances for the Resurrection Day, so that not one soul shall be wronged anything; even if it be the weight of one grain of mustard-seed We shall produce it, and sufficient are We for reckoners.
99|1|When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking
99|2|and earth brings forth her burdens,
99|3|and Man says., 'What ails her?'
99|4|upon that day she shall tell her tidings
99|5|for that her Lord has inspired her.
99|6|Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works,
99|7|and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it,
99|8|and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.
101|1|The Clatterer!
101|2|What is the Clatterer?
101|3|And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer?
101|4|The day that men shall be like scattered moths,
101|5|and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts.
101|6|Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance
101|7|shall inherit a pleasing life,
101|8|but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance
101|9|shall plunge in the womb of the Pit.
101|10|And what shall teach thee what is the Pit?
101|11|A blazing Fire!
17|49|They say, 'What, when we are bones and broken bits, shall we really be raised up again in a new creation?'
17|50|Say: 'Let you be stones, or iron,
17|51|or some creation yet more monstrous in your minds!' Then they will say, 'Who will bring us back?' Say: 'He who originated you the first time.' Then they will shake their heads at thee, and they will say, 'When will it be?' Say: 'It is possible that it may be nigh,
75|1|No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection.
75|2|No! I swear by the reproachful soul.
75|3|What, does man reckon We shall not gather his bones?
75|4|Yes indeed; We are able to shape again his fingers.
51|1|By the swift scatterers
51|2|and the burden-bearers
51|3|and the smooth runners
51|4|and the partitioners,
51|5|surely that you are promised is true,
51|6|and surely the Doom is about to fall!
80|33|And when the Blast shall sound,
80|34|upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother,
80|35|his mother, his father,
80|36|his consort, his sons,
80|37|every man that day shall have business to suffice him.
2|123|and beware a day when no soul for another shall give satisfaction, and no counterpoise shall be accepted from it, nor any intercession shall be profitable to it, neither shall they be helped.
81|1|When the sun shall be darkened,
81|14|then shall a soul know what it has produced.
76|4|Surely We have prepared for the unbelievers chains, fetters, and a Blaze.
41|19|Upon the day when God's enemies are mustered to the Fire, duly disposed,
41|20|till when they are come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins bear witness against them concerning what they have been doing,
41|21|and they will say to their skins, 'Why bore you witness against us?' They shall say, 'God gave us speech, as He gave everything speech. He created you the first time, and unto Him you shall be returned.
41|22|Not so did you cover yourselves, that your hearing, your eyes and your skins should not bear witness against you; but you thought that God would never know much of the things that you were working.
28|83|That is the Last Abode; We appoint it for those who desire not exorbitance in the earth, nor corruption. The issue ultimate is to the godfearing.
47|15|This is the similitude of Paradise which the godfearing have been promised: therein are rivers of water unstaling, rivers of milk unchanging in flavour, and rivers of wine -- a delight to the drinkers, rivers, too, of honey purified; and therein for them is every fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord -- Are they as he who dwells forever in the Fire, such as are given to drink boiling water, that tears their bowels asunder?
7|46|And between them is a veil, and on the Ramparts are men knowing each by their mark, who shall call to the inhabitants of Paradise: 'Peace be upon you! They have not entered it, for all their eagerness.'
7|47|And when their eyes are turned towards the inhabitants of the Fire they shall say, 'Our Lord, do not Thou assign us with the people of the evildoers.'
17|19|And whosoever desires the world to come and strives after it as he should, being a believer -- those, their striving shall be thanked.
17|20|Each We succour, these and those, from thy Lord's gift; and thy Lord's gift is not confined.
56|7|and you shall be three bands --
56|11|those are they brought nigh the Throne,
84|6|O Man! Thou art labouring unto thy Lord laboriously, and thou shalt encounter Him.
84|14|he surely thought he would never revert.
11|106|As for the wretched, they shall be in the Fire, wherein there shall be for them moaning and sighing, therein dwelling forever,
11|107|so long as the heavens and earth abide, save as thy Lord will; surely thy Lord accomplishes what He desires.
11|108|And as for the happy, they shall be in Paradise, therein dwelling forever, so long as the heavens and earth abide, save as thy Lord will -- for a gift unbroken.
89|27|'O soul at peace,
89|30|Enter thou My Paradise!'
9|72|God has promised the believers, men and women, gardens underneath which rivers flow, forever therein to dwell, and goodly dwelling-places in the Gardens of Eden; and greater, God's good pleasure; that is the mighty triumph.
50|31|And Paradise shall be brought forward to the godfearing, not afar:
50|32|'This is that you were promised; it is for every mindful penitent.'
50|33|Whosoever fears the All-merciful in the Unseen, and comes with a penitent heart:
50|34|'Enter it in peace! This is the Day of Eternity.'
50|35|Therein they shall have whatever they will; and with Us there is yet more.
