Sex is a
very private issue and it must never be mixed up with religion. Perceptions
regarding all matters and issues change and evolve as time marches on. Sex is
no exception.
What were
considered to be taboos a millennium ago, became perversions after a few
centuries, those perversions got diluted into deviations a few decades ago and
today, they're normal sexual acts.
Take the
example of Khud Lazzati or Jalaq (masturbation). It was roundly
condemned by all primitive faiths and their antediluvian scriptures.
Masturbation was viewed as a moral crime by all religions and their 'holy' men.
Jerking off was a perversion as late as 1960. Between 1960 to 1980, even doctors
advised people to refrain from indulging in masturbation and used the
derogatory word 'self-abuse' for it.
After
advanced research in human sexuality post-1980, it was found to be a very
normal sexual behaviour and a part of growing up sexually. Today, it's
absolutely normal. Men as well as women have been indulging in this particular
act since time immemorial and will continue to enjoy it as a safety valve. But
all religions attached a guilt factor to it. Religious people still condemn Khud-Khushi
(don't get confused with Khudkushi !) and they'll always condemn it. The
scriptures of all faiths are rife with references to masturbation and its
imaginary ill-effects on the human body and genitals and how it displeases a
meddlesome and voyeuristic god who's perversely interested in humans' sexual
behaviour and kinks.
When two
consenting adults indulge in an act of sexual intercourse being fully aware of
its consequences and all the facets, it's no one else's business to interfere.
How they mate and enjoy cannot be decided and dictated by any god or scripture.
In the last few decades, sexual awareness has increased manifold. Use of
prophylactics (rubbers/condoms) has made all types of sex safe (including rear
entry) and enjoyable.
If at all,
there's some god or Allah up there in the sky, he'll surely not punish you for
your consensual sensual and sexual indulgence in the privacy of your bedroom.
Grow up and
look at sex as something very normal and natural. Had it been so bad, your
creator wouldn't have made it so damn pleasurable and soul-satisfying. Enjoy
sex in all its permutations without being fearful of your religion and a grumpy
god.
