Congress Wants To Give Your Children's Property To
Muslims: Union Minister
By: Ajmal Abbas

Hamirpu. (Photo: Screengrab/ANI)
--------------
Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday sparked a row
after he alleged that the Congress wants to “give your children's property to
Muslims”.
Addressing a poll rally in Himachal Pradesh’s Hamirpu,
Thakur said, "In the Congress manifesto, along with the hand of the
Congress, the hands of foreign forces are also visible who want to give your
children's property to Muslims, finish the nation's nuclear weapons, divide the
nation on casteism and regionalism”.
“You have to decide whether you want to go with
Congress' 'Tukde-Tukde' gang or Narendra Modi, who believes in 'Ek Bharat,
Shrestha Bharat'. You have to decide whether the children's property should
remain with them or should it go to Muslims,” Anurag Thakur said.
Thakur, however, claimed that the BJP gave “all rights
to Muslims equally” and that it was not based on religion, but rather “because
it was their right”.
Continuing his attack, Anurag Thakur said, “When Rajiv
Gandhi became the PM, there was a law that 55% of property would go to the
government, but he abolished this law and saved his property. Now, Rahul Gandhi
did not get married so he wants to take away your children's property. Gandhi
family does whatever suits them."
Meanwhile, calling Thakur’s remarks
"outrageous", the Congress filed a complaint with the Election
Commission, alleging violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the
party has sent a complaint to the Election Commission against Thakur and has
sought "immediate and meaningful" action against him, failing which
they will "name and shame the offenders".
In a recent election rally in Rajasthan, Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, alleged that Congress’s manifesto says they would distribute
the country's wealth, if voted to power, to "those who have more
children", referring to Muslims.

Iran Bans Streaming Of Egypt-Produced Controversial
Series “Hashashin”Which Allegedly Distorts Facts In Favour Of Arab Narratives
By Khaama Press
April 28, 2024
The Iranian government has announced a ban on the
streaming of the Egypt-produced series “Hashashin,” which aired in many Arabic
countries during Ramadan, according to BBC.
Iranian authorities stated that the series is
prohibited due to its portrayal of Islamic history, which allegedly distorts
facts in favour of Arab narratives. “Hashashin” is based on the life of
Hassan-e-Sabah, the Shiite Nizari Ismaili leader who lived in Iran during the
Islamic Caliphate of the Fatimid era and ruled Persia in the 11th century.
Hassan-iSabbah, founder and leader of the Shiite
Nizari Ismailis, ruled from 1090 until his death in 1124. His followers
maintained power at Alamut and other strongholds until 1256, when Mongol forces
under Hulagu Khan destroyed Alamut, ending their reign.
Critics, especially from Ismaili communities, argue
the series unfairly depicts Hassan-e-Sabah as a tyrant who sustained power
through terrorism. They contend that it falsely labels him as the originator of
suicide attacks and terrorism, a portrayal they say is a gross
misrepresentation of a leader who advocated for justice and fair rule in Islam.
Hassan-iSabbah was not only a significant military and
Shiiete religious leader but also played a crucial role in promoting Persian
culture and identity during his rule. He actively supported the Persian
language and endorsed Persian cultural practices over Arabic influences, which
was a distinctive choice given the prevailing Arab cultural dominance in the
region at the time.
Under his leadership, the Nizari Ismaili state became
a center for scholarly activities and cultural preservation. Sabbah himself was
a learned man, well-versed in several academic fields including philosophy,
mathematics, and astronomy, and he encouraged these studies within his domain.
This scholarly environment helped maintain and enrich Persian cultural
traditions.
Moreover, Hassan-iSabbah’s strategic use of Alamut as
a stronghold allowed for a somewhat independent cultural development which was
distinct from the Arab-dominated areas. His rule and actions were pivotal in
maintaining a Persian identity in the regions under his influence during a
period when such a distinction was under considerable pressure from the
dominant Seljuk Turks and the broader Arabic influences of the time.
Thus, Hassan-iSabbah’s contributions to Persian
culture were multifaceted, involving both direct promotion of the Persian
language and indirect support through his educational and political policies.

Muslim Voters Are Turning Against The Main Partiesin
Yorkshire As They Have Seen UK Involved In Wars In Muslim Countries
By Mason Boycott-Owen
27th Apr 2024
The Muslim community has seen this country at war, or
involved in wars, in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and now in Gaza,” says Mr
Mohammed.
For these voters at the next election, unlike arguably
any other section of the population, foreign policy is highly likely to be the
top of their list of priorities when it comes to voting.
The conflict in the Middle East is a fringe issue for
many in the UK, with many voters having no view over the conflict beyond what
they catch on news bulletins or social media.
“The Muslim community doesn't really focus on the
mainstream media and has access to media all over the world, so they see
pictures that the rest of society may not see,” says Mr Mohammed.
“There's a lot of unhappiness with the mainstream
political parties on what they see as total support for the state of Israel
and, and really nothing for the Palestinians. So there's a lot of anger about
that.”
The disconnect between voters and their priorities
extends to a wider sense of disconnect between many British Muslims and the
rest of society, with the integration of Muslim communities failing to be as
strong as many would hope.
“Muslims are constantly in the news presented as a
threat, and that impacts people who really have no contact with the Muslim
community, their worldview is framed around that and that can cause tension,”
says Mr Mohammed.
“I think the Muslim community themselves have realised
that they need to deal with that image and they’ve started opening their
mosques, having open days, doing food banks, reaching out to the wider
community to show they are not what they are being portrayed as in the media.”
However, post-Covid there are fewer opportunities for
proper integration and multiculturalism, with fewer people mixing in an office,
and a decline in community spaces.
“In the days of the mills when the first generations
were here, the workplace was where people integrated and once that’s declined
nothing really has replaced that.
“I live on a street, which is a professional street,
and I rarely see my neighbours. We’re not really a cohesive people anymore in
society.
“There’s a wider debate about how the whole of society
becomes more connected to each other and more understanding of each other.
Change, Mr Mohammed says, has to come from the most
confident members of the Muslim community, rather than expecting all Muslims to
take the lead in pushing for greater integration.

Memorial to be built for Muslim soldiers who fought

-------------
A memorial is set to be built for Muslim soldiers who
fought and died alongside British and Allied forces in both World Wars.
Set to be erected at the National Memorial Arboretum
(NMA) in Staffordshire, the 13.2m minaret-shaped structure is to be constructed
with brick and terracotta sourced from different parts of the UK and inscribed
with the stories of Muslim soldiers who fought for the crown.
He said: "The idea is, as you approach the
memorial, it draws you in. And you can see there's more detail, more
information, more craftsmanship.
"The idea is to show a panorama of the Muslim
soldiers' service in the World War from the gritty 1914. This incredible
narrative of plugging the gap and saving the expeditionary forces on the
Western Front."
At least 2.5 million Muslim soldiers and labourers are
reported to have fought with the Allied forces in the First World War and 5.5
million in the Second World War. Nearly 1.5 million Muslims were killed in
action.
The memorial's design tells the story of sacrifice
while reviving traditional crafts, and Mr O'Looney says it will incorporate
work from a sculptor and an Islamic calligrapher.
Its site has been chosen at the NMA, a 150-acre
visitor site on the edge of the National Forest, alongside commemorative
memorials for Sikhs, Gurkhas and others.
"Both of my great-grandfathers Captain Ghulam
Mohammad and Subedar [roughly equivalent to warrant officer] Mohammad Khan were
part of the Great War, and my two grandfathers were part of the Second World
War serving in Burma," the GP from Nottingham told Sky News.
"They all descended from Dulmial village, which
is based in the salt range in Punjab, in present-day Pakistan, a very famous
military village."
"I'm so glad we are near to fruition now, so that
we can remember this forgotten history of the Muslim soldiers in both of the
Great Wars and looking at Muslim contributions globally as well," he said.
"It'll be a symbol of remembrance of those
campaigns, the sacrifices made, and also an opportunity to educate our younger
generation to improve community cohesion in this country."

CAIR-Philadelphia, Muslim Groups Publish Open Letter
to College Presidents Urging Respect for Protesters’ First Amendment Rights
Ibrahim Hooper
April 27, 2024
The Philadelphia chapter of the Council on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Philadelphia) today joined greater
Philadelphia-area mosques and Muslim community organizations in issuing an open
letter calling on area college presidents and school district leaders to
respect pro-Palestine students’ First Amendment rights and to refrain from
disciplinary action and enacting police violence at anti-genocide protests.
“The historically entrenched and ever-growing Muslim
community in our region expects our area educational institutions to fully
respect students who are advocating for peace and humanity as we witness
atrocities in Palestine day in and day out, and as our federal and local
elected leaders fail to act in line with moral values to address one of the
most horrific episodes in world history.
“Threats of disciplinary action, securitizing campuses
with police presence and violence, and tolerating doxxing and harassment of our
students is unacceptable. “
“The collective voice of Muslim community leaders
should be heeded by decision-makers such that we avoid witnessing scenes of
violence similar to what we have seen on American campuses. It is time to be
respectful of civil disobedience, a value deeply intrinsic to American
history.”

'Name and shame these offenders': Congress hits back
at Anurag Thakur 'property to Muslim' claims
Apr 27, 2024
NEW DELHI: The Indian National Congress on Saturday
took action against Union Minister Anurag Thakur's claims about the
"distribution of property to Muslims, " by taking it to the Election
Commission of India.
Thakur during a public rally in Himachal Pradesh said,
"You have to decide whether the children's property should remain with
them or should it go to Muslims."
Reacting to which Congress leader Jairam Ramesh
tweeted on the social media platform X (previously known as Twitter)
"Today, Anurag Thakur followed in the footsteps of the PM and the UP chief
minister and made a most outrageous speech that violates all standards of
decency and truth, apart from the EC's Model Code of Conduct itself. @INCIndia
has written to the ECI to take note of the speech and issue Mr. Thakur a notice
immediately. The ECI must realise that a lack of meaningful action emboldens
these bad faith actions. And if they do not take action then we will name and
shame these offenders who think they are above the law, both in the arena of
the public as well as before the courts."

Half of Assam’s Muslims voted for BJP, says CM Himanta
Biswa Sarma
Apr 28, 2024
GUWAHATI: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is leading
his party’s Lok Sabha election campaign in the state from the front, said half
of the state’s Muslim electorate has voted for BJP in the seats where polling
has been completed.
While the first phase of polls in the state was held
in five indigenous-heavy constituencies, which includes native
Assamese-speaking Muslims, the other seats which went to the polls in the
second phase have a significant presence of Bangladesh-origin Muslim migrant
voters as well as native Bengali-speaking Muslims.
Speaking to the media at one his campaign rallies in
Mirza on Saturday, Sarma said, “We did not expect all Muslim voters to vote for
us in the seats where polling has been done. But 50% of them have come out to
vote or us this time. This will further improve in future elections.”
Explaining why Muslims have voted for BJP, Sarma said,
“Our govt has worked maximum for the religious minorities. They understood that
whatever I have been saying is for their good.”
“When I am sending out messages of educating their
girls, asking them to go for plantations of various trees, they will also be
benefited. I am stressing on educating girls, not just Hindu girls but Muslim
girls too. I have not spoken about Congress or Rahul Gandhi,” he added.
Once a Congress stronghold, these regions of Assam
over the years became AIUDF leader Badruddin Ajmal’s backyard, but BJP is not
shying away from staging the biggest electoral coup in the Bangladesh-origin
Muslim heartland.

Gaza ‘Freedom Flotilla’ blocked in Turkey after being
denied use of 2 ships
27 April 2024,
A “Freedom Flotilla” aimed at delivering aid to Gaza
without Israeli coordination or approval was blocked in Turkey Saturday after
being denied use of two of its ships, which organizers blamed on Israeli
pressure.
The coalition of NGOs and other associations said it
was unable to set sail after the West African country of Guinea-Bissau withdrew
its flagged vessels.
“Sadly, Guinea-Bissau has allowed itself to become
complicit in Israel’s deliberate starvation, illegal siege and genocide of
Palestinians in Gaza,” the Freedom Flotilla Coalition said.
“The Guinea-Bissau International Ships Registry
(GBISR), in a blatantly political move, informed the Freedom Flotilla Coalition
that it had withdrawn the Guinea-Bissau flag from two of the Freedom Flotilla’s
ships, one of which is our cargo ship, already loaded with over 5,000 tons of
life-saving aid,” their statement said.
The effort to reach Gaza in ships carrying hundreds of
tons of humanitarian aid is being spearheaded by the Turkish IHH Humanitarian
Relief Foundation, which is attempting to break the naval blockade maintained
by Israel on Gaza to prevent the Hamas terror group from rearming itself.

Comments By ‘Britain’s Liberal Imam’ Dr Taj
HargeyAbout Sir Keir Starmer Are Incendiary And Racist
27th Apr 2024
But very few would have expected such views to be held
by Dr Taj Hargey, the founder of the Oxford Institute for British Islam (OIBI)
think tank.
Hargey’s comments about Sir Keir Starmer’s stance on
the current conflict in the Middle East being down to the fact that the Labour
leader has Jewish family members are incendiary and racist. Not only that but
he then goes on to draw comparisons between Jews and Nazis. Hargey is someone
who has been described as “Britain’s liberal imam”. He has supposedly been
trying to create a space where women can pray alongside men, homosexuals are
not excluded. Hargey positioned himself as the poster boy for modern faith in
modern Britain.
This was not an accidental slip of the tongue. Nor did
Hargey tie himself up in knots through a clumsy choice of words. And it
certainly was not a gotcha question presented to him by The Yorkshire Post.

France's foreign minister looks to prevent
Israel-Hezbollah conflict escalation in Lebanon visit
Apr 28, 2024
BEIRUT: France's foreign minister will push proposals
to prevent further escalation and a potential war between Israel and
Iran-backed Hezbollah during a visit to Lebanon on Sunday as Paris seeks to
refine a roadmap that both sides could accept to ease tensions.
France has historical ties with Lebanon and earlier
this year Stephane Sejourne delivered an initiative that proposed Hezbollah's
elite unit pull back 10 km (6 miles) from the Israeli border, while Israel
would halt strikes in southern Lebanon.
The two have exchanged tit for tat strikes in recent
months, but the exchanges have increased since Iran launched a barrage of
missiles on Israel in response to a suspected Israeli attack on the Iranian
embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus that killed members of Iran's
Revolutionary Guards Corps' overseas Quds Force.
France's proposal, which has been discussed with
partners, notably the United States, has not moved forward, but Paris wants to
keep momentum in talks and underscore to Lebanese officials that Israeli
threats of a military operation in southern Lebanon should be taken seriously.

Mexican journalist found dead in car, protests erupt
over worsening conditions for press workers
Apr 28, 2024
NEW DELHI: Mexican journalists, on Saturday, held a
protest after one of their colleagues was killed in the southern state of
Morelos.
The protesters demanded a thorough investigation into
the case and expressed frustration over the worse conditions that journalists
face in Mexico, which ranks among the world's deadliest countries for press
workers.
Dozens gathered to mourn the loss of Roberto Figueroa,
a journalist known for his coverage of local politics and his popular satirical
videos on social media. Figueroa was reported missing on Friday morning and
later found dead inside a car in his hometown of Huitzilac, located in the
violence-plagued state of Morelos, south of Mexico City.Figueroa's tragic death
marks the first killing of a journalist in Mexico this year. The country holds
the dubious distinction of being the most perilous nation for journalists in
the Western Hemisphere, with the highest number of missing journalists
globally, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, an organization
advocating for press freedom.
While Mexican authorities pledged a thorough
investigation and the Morelos state government condemned the killing, Figueroa's
colleagues expressed frustration with the ongoing threats and violence against
journalists. They called for swift action and accountability from authorities,
holding signs reading "Investigation now!" and chanting outside
government offices in Morelos.

'Am a grown man, running against a 6-year-old': Biden

Apr 28, 2024
NEW DELHI: US President Joe Biden delivered a roast at
the yearly White House Correspondents' Association dinner, which coincided with
protests outside the venue criticizing his stance on Israel's conflict with
Hamas, reported Reuters.
During the formal event, Biden took playful jabs at
his Republican opponent Donald Trump, poking fun at his own advanced age and
addressing the Washington press corps. "Yes, age is an issue. I'm a grown
man, running against a 6-year-old," Biden joked. He later added, "Age

me."
Outside the Washington Hilton, protesters held banners
and chanted about journalist deaths in Gaza, urging journalists to boycott the
event and confronting administration officials as they arrived. Biden avoided
the large protests at the front of the hotel by entering through a back
entrance, where smaller groups of protesters called for a ceasefire.

Islamic Emirate seeking strong interaction with world
April 28, 2024
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has long announced
that it wanted good and expanded relations with the world, particularly the
Islamic nations. Following inaccurate assertions and reports of some countries
about Afghanistan under the Islamic Emirate, the leadership of the Islamic
Emirate said that it never wanted to interfere in the internal affairs of other
countries and never allow others to interfere in the country’s affairs, but was
impatiently waiting for a strong relationship and developed interaction with
the world based on the Islamic laws. Recently, many world and Islamic
countries’ authorities visited Afghanistan, discussing key issues concerning
mutual relations with the Islamic Emirate, with the country’s authorities
persisting on the expansion of relations with the world but in a way that do
not meddle in the internal affairs. In a meeting with the Malaysian delegation,
the Islamic Emirate’s Minister of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani,
expressed hope for further expansion of relations with the world and assured
the visiting delegation of countrywide security. Considering all commonalities
with the Islamic nations and ensuring good relations with the whole world
countries, the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has long assured that
Afghanistan would never be used against them nor any terrorist activities would
be allowed to disturb the security of the country or use Afghanistan soil
against other nations. But, unfortunately, some malicious countries want to
defame the Islamic system and claim that Afghanistan has fought insurgencies
and terrorist groups along its borders with the neighboring countries. The
countries which claim their insecurity has emerged from Afghanistan, should
deeply investigate into their own borders and judge whether they are secure or
have become hideouts and training centers for their own dissident groups. They
should take a look at their own soil and find whether there is their own
failure in maintaining the security of their country or this is really
Afghanistan that is behind their insecurity. This is why political and economic
relations and strong interaction are expanding between the Islamic Emirate and
the world countries. Any country has the responsibility of their own countries’
security and no one has the right to blame others for their own failure. So,
the international community should not seek excuses anymore and do its best to
deal politically and economically with the Islamic Emirate and most
importantly, cooperate with the current system in the release of billions of
U.S. dollars in Afghanistan’s assets.

on which, 30 years ago, millions of South Africans braved long queues to vote

But any sense of celebration on the momentous
anniversary was set against a growing discontent with the government of the

Moroccan city of Fez celebrates the Sufi culture
28-04-2024
The sounds of Tariqa Raissouniya ring out over Fez.
The Moroccan city is hosting a festival of Sufi
culture.
Sufism is a mystical practice within Islam, mixing
traditional observance with other forms of worship, such as ritual chanting.
"Our participation is through poems,
remembrances, supplications and Sufi recitals of Sufi imams for our
country," says Jamal EddineRaissouni, a member of the group.
"In the context of a Sufi music festival, it is
interesting to connect this spirituality to a spirituality experienced
elsewhere, in the music that I have just performed, the suites of Bach,"
he says.
"It is a music created as religious in the first
place, but which also brings together aspects, which is not the same for all
parts of Bach, and I believe that in this sense it is perhaps closer to
representing Sufi music."

Call for parties to stop ‘renting themselves’ to
establishment
Zulqernain Tahir
April 28, 2024
LAHORE: Political parties have been advised to stop
‘renting themselves’ to the powers that be if they want to see parliamentary
democracy strengthened in Pakistan.
The suggestion came from the participants in the 5th
Asma Jahangir Conference on the theme of ‘Reclaiming Democratic Spaces’ on
Saturday.
Former Senator of BNP-M Sanaullah Baloch said everyone
knew the parliament had no power. “All major political parties have become
‘rent a party’. Unless parties have self-accountability, parliamentary
democracy will remain a distant dream,” Baloch said and added the Election
Commission of Pakistan got independent in 2017 but what it did in February
polls was before everyone showing how independent it (ECP) was. He lambasted
the ECP as his party was also a victim of Form 47 manipulation in the last
polls.

Islam Taught Us To Serve Humanity: Chairman of Dr. AQ
Khan Hospital Trust
April 28, 2024
Lahore - Chairman of Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust
AlhajQaisar Amin Butt and founder trustee and general secretary Dr. Shaukat
Babar Virk have said that Islam has taught us to serve humanity. The presence of welfare organizations is the
security of the public. So no power in the world can save evildoers for their bad intention
from punishment of the law, he said. Where there is good, of course, evil takes
its place, but we know how to drive the evil and hold the evildoers to account
with public and legal power, he added.
A state-of-the-art Ahbab Hospital for the population
of Ravi Park and its suburbs was established by late Haji Muhammad Amin Butt.
The deceased had a dream which was brought into reality by us, and no other
person can take away the credit from us, he said. He was addressing a meeting.
Al-Hajj Qaisar Amin Butt and Dr. Shaukat Babar Virk further said that Ahbab
Hospital has been taking the lead in providing modern medical facilities to the
poor and deserving citizens since 1974.
We have consulted and changed this name to Dr. AQ
khan. He named the hospital and made its chairman on the basis of his love for
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, he said. Citizens living in Ravi Park and adjacent
communities are well aware of the tireless services of the founder of the
hospital, Dr. AQ Khan. He said that higher authority can temporarily be diverted but truth and justice
cannot be stopped on the strength of any conspiracy or rebellion. The police
authorities under the leadership of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar have made the
delivery of justice quite easy, he added.

Regime change breeds lawlessness in country: PTI
Ikram Junaidi
April 28, 2024
ISLAMABAD: Claiming that the US State Department’s
report on human rights in Pakistan substantiated PTI’s submissions and
contentions after the regime change, the party on Saturday alleged that
“lawlessness and fascism” pervaded in the country during the past two years.
Addressing a press conference along with PTI Senator
Walid Iqbal and Advocate Abuzar Salman Niazi, party’s central information
secretary Raoof Hasan said the US 2023 Country Report highlighted serious human
rights violations in Pakistan, including extrajudicial killings, enforced
disappearances, lack of fair trial, disappearance of journalists, serious
restrictions on internet freedom, substantial interference in the freedom of
peaceful assembly and freedom of association, torture and inhumane treatment
with a lack of accountability.
He alleged that a culture of lawlessness pervaded in
the country as people’s freedom, dignity and respect and sanctity of four walls
were not safe from “state goons”. Mr Hasan went on to say that there were two
powers in the country: one could be seen but was “powerless and a dummy”, while
the other was unseen but it held actual power and was working like shadow.
The PTI leader lamented that there was a “de facto
martial law” in the country and only the orders of “shadow powers” were being
implemented and no one could challenge them.

Punjab continues to drag feet on local govt polls
Iftikhar A. Khan
April 28, 2024
ISLAMABAD: As Punjab keeps on delaying the local government
(LG) elections, an apparently helpless Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)
has once again taken up the matter with the provincial government.
Under Article 140-A of the Constitution and Section
219(4) of the Elections Act, the ECP is bound to hold elections within 120 days
of the expiry of the term of the local government institutions.
In April 2019, the then PTI-led Punjab government
dissolved the local government institutions, which were later restored by the
Supreme Court and subsequently completed their term on Dec 31, 2021.
That means elections were supposed to take place some
two years ago, but it could not be made possible as the provincial government
kept on amending the LG law from time to time. The change of governments in the
province made no difference and it is still unclear if the holding of local
bodies elections would become a reality in near future.

SC order to remove encroachments in Karachi reignites
fear of mass displacement
Aleezeh Fatimah
April 28, 2024
KARACHI: While the Supreme Court has ordered the
authorities to remove within three days encroachments from all roads and
footpaths, people feared that civic authorities would again allegedly misuse
the apex court’s directives to uproot thousands of people earning their
livelihoods in and around hundreds of small and big markets in the city without
giving them sufficient time and compensation.
Back in 2018, a massive anti-encroachment drive was
carried out in the city on the directives of the Supreme Court under which
small carts and stalls were removed from different roads and streets, but till
date, most affectees had not been given any compensation.
The authorities did not return seized goods to a large
number of vendors. Many alleged that the municipal staff concerned and police
returned their seized pushcarts and valuables after taking bribes.
Thousands of families have been rendered homeless
following a demolition drive along three major stormwater drains in the city
and they have been running from pillar to post for years to get promised
compensation but in vain.
