She gets such women admitted to the Jamia's open school of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

Sana Khan not only sends the dropouts back to school but also takes the responsibility of imparting them skills and ensuring their job placements.

Her NGO teaches courses like digital marketing, fashion designing, etc. Interestingly, Rahat Foundation also managed to train 256 women drivers and helped them get licenses to drive.

Sana Khan says so far her NGO has employed about 10 thousand young men and women. They had acquired different skills at the classes of the Rahat Foundation.

Of these, 6000 did learn digital marketing, and 4000 fashion designing . Sana Khan says she contacted the fashion designing industry located in Okhla Phase 2 in Delhi, while the digital marketing trainees gots jobs in the IT sector, call centers, Swiggy, Zomato, Ola, etc.

She also remains in touch with the companies where she enrolls the skilled young men and women of the Rahat Foundation for jobs.

Kna Khan said, "My father died when I was in my 8th class. I was 13 years old. I had two elder brothers and a mother in my house. I can't even describe the financial difficulties we faced at that time. One day a person from an NGO touched our lives and everything started changing."

"Back then I got support and today I am at the stage where I have created a successful world of my own. I always try to help others, " she says.

Rahat Foundation takes utmost care of all their beneficiaries. It arranges their exam fees, books, etc. The NGO does occasional fundraising to meet its expenses.

Sana Khan says she is careful in checking the genuineness of the beneficiery. She says there is a strict system of checking and whetting of a potential beneficiery. Rahat Foundation takens both boys and girls under its wings, she said.

A female politician in Thailand has been the subject of debate on social media after reports said she had an affair with her adopted son. According to South China Morning Post (SCMP), 45-year-old Prapaporn Choeiwadkoh was caught in bed with 24-year-old Phra Maha who is also monk. The female politician was caught by her husband, identified by the outlet as Ti, who drove for five hours and caught the woman red-handed. Choeiwadkoh's was suspicious of her relationship with the monk and devised a plan to catch them.

The couple adopted Phra Maha last year from a temple after Choeiwadkoh said she felt sorry for him. The monk is now on the run, as per the SCMP report.

The news has shocked social media users in Thailand and some neighbouring countries.

"This news is explosive, with too many elements. It sounds like pure fiction. The world of the wealthy is indeed fascinating and chaotic," it quoted one user as saying on X.

"A 64-year-old husband, a 45-year-old wife, and a 24-year-old adopted son who is a monk? This is such a mess. It sounds more like keeping a boy-toy rather than adoption. Even dramas don't dare to script this," said another.

A video of the Thai politician has also surfaced on various social media platforms that reports say was recorded by Ti.

In the video, the man purportedly asks Choeiwadkoh "Are you two happy?" His wife defended herself, claiming they had not had sex and were only chatting.

Phra also defended his innocence as per SCMP, saying: "Nothing happened."

Choeiwadkoh is a popular politician from Sukhothai, a province in central Thailand. She currently serves as the president of a local chamber of commerce and has been a member of the Democrat Party since March last year.

She has been suspended by the party pending an investigation into the scandal.

May 4, 2024

Indian media has reported that Zakia Wardak, a diplomat and consul general of Afghanistan in Mumbai, India, was detained at the city’s airport while smuggling 25 kilograms of gold.

According to “Times of India,” the incident occurred on Saturday, May 3rd when Ms Wardak was attempting to smuggle the gold from Dubai to India in a concealed manner.

The media has valued this amount of gold at 18.6 crore Indian rupees. One crore Indian rupees is equal to 10 million or 100 lakh.

It is reported that MsWardak’s case has been registered as a “gold smuggling case,” but she is not currently under arrest due to diplomatic immunity.

“Times of India” reported, citing its source, that if the value of the gold exceeds one billion Indian rupees, the suspect will be detained and prosecuted.

The media quoted Zakia Wardak as saying, “I am surprised by these allegations, while I am facing personal challenges and at the same time have to support the Embassy of Afghanistan in India.”

It is said that this amount of gold was found on Ms. Wardak’s person at Mumbai airport, which she had concealed in her clothing. According to the report, she was accompanied by her young son on this trip, but her child had no role in the matter.

According to this report, Ms. Wardak did not present any documents for transporting this amount of gold to the Indian government. Indian authorities have said that she may be the first diplomat from a foreign country to be prosecuted for gold smuggling.

Zakia Wardak was appointed consul general in Mumbai during the previous government and remained in her position even after the Afghan embassy in India closed. Although India has not officially recognized the Taliban administration, diplomatic communications are now taking place in Kabul.

According to a report obtained by Khaama Press, she has resigned from her position at the consulate, effective today.
