Muslim Juhala threaten Mayawati government over Ahmadiya issue: مایا سرکار احمدیہ فرقہ کو نصاب سے فوری ہٹائے

Mullahs and maulvis of Uttar Pradesh and some other self-styled Muslim leaders have threatened Mayawati government of dire consequences unless a chapter on Ahmadiya Islamic sect is removed from the Social Study book of standard xth. These maulanas, reverentially called ulama (scholars), although most of them, completely ignorant of the world around them as they are, should be better called Juhala (ignoramuses), have warned U P chief minister Mayawati of country-wide protests, if this section of the book is not immediately removed.

The maulanas may have actually struck gold in the form of this mention of Ahmadiyas as an Islamic sect in the UP social science book. They have been on the lookout for long for an emotional issue on which to create more disturbances in the country and mint money. Babri demolition did not only rob the Sangh Pariwar of an issue to befool Hindus with; it also made our maulanas jobless.

Kafirs, Murtids galore, deserve their throats being slit

A few questions these Juhala should be asked. How come you all get so excited, if even a nincompoop like Chander Mohan claims to have embraced Islam, even if it is clear, right from the beginning that he is merely out to cheat his wife as well as his mistress? A wave of jubilation runs through the community almost world-wide even if one silly conversion takes place, even if it is done under compulsion which is totally opposed to Islamic teachings.

But on the other hand practically every Muslim “scholar” is eager to denounce virtually every Muslim sect other than his own as Kafir or murtid and out of Islam.

Now why should Mayawati government merely exclude Ahmadiyas from the text books? Why not Shias? Why not Wahhabis? Why not Sunnis? Why not Bareilwis? Why not Deobandis? Why not Sufis? And so on. They are all kafirs in the eyes of one or the other sect.

If no one knows what Islam is all about, why teach Islam at all?

Ask all these Juhala, who are mentioned in the report below, who are asking Ahmadiyas to be excluded from the text books, ask them the same question, the former chief justice of Pakistan Supreme Court Justice Munir, investigating the widespread riots against the Ahmadiyas in 1953, had asked the Juhala of every sect in his country: Who is a Muslim? How would you define Islam? No two Juhala, he reported, in his report [available on this site in full], even from the same sect agreed on any definition of a Muslim.

So the real question before Mayawati government would be: If no one knows what Islam is all about, why teach Islam at all? Excluding Islam itself from the text books should be the safest option.

Strongly criticising the inclusion of the Qadiani sect founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani in the 19^th century in the syllabus of Social Science text book of the UP, all the ulema of various schools of thought, have unanimously demanded its exclusion from the syllabus immediately. They said that since the Muslims the world over had unanimously expelled Ahmadiyya sect from Islam, it is all the more painful to term them as a reformist sect among the Muslims and that if the UP government did not expunge it from the syllabus it should be ready to face the ire of the Muslims. It is surprising that the UP government had been informed of the Ahmadiyya sect being termed as a sect of Muslims and their inclusion in the syllabus time and again but despite assurances, hurting the Muslim sentiments had been going on.

It is to be noted that on page 30 of ‘Samajik Vigyan’ of Class X, in the chapter titled “Ahamdiyya Andolan”, the sect has been linked to Muslims terming it as a reformist sect. Not only that, on page 29, in the essay titled ‘Muslim Andolan’ an attempt has been made to present Muslims as divided into various sects as Wahabi Andolan( Movement), Deobandi Andolan and Aligarh Andolan. It is to be noted that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was born in mouza Qadian in Gurdaspur district of Punjab (India) in 1839. He claimed to be a prophet in 1899 and died in 1908.

Reacting on the inclusion of the Ahmadiyya sect in the school syllabus, the President of Jamiat-e-Ulema, Hind, Qari Syed Md Usman Mansurpuri said that it was grossly wrong and hurtful to Muslims. Despite the fact that Darul Uloom Deoband had constantly run a movement against the Ahmadiyyas, the act has hurt Muslim sentiments. Qadianis do not believe in Hadhrat Mohammad (PBUH) as the last prophet and believe in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani too as a prophet. So the Muslims cannot compromise on it. He said that it was injustice to Muslims to include the Ahamadiyya sect as a reformist sect among the Muslims and demanded that the UP government should exclude it from the syllabus immediately otherwise the Jamiat-e-Ulema would launch a nationwide movement.

The General Secretary of All India Personal Law Board Maulana Nizamuddin said that the Islamic world including India and Pakistan had excluded Ahmadiyya sect from Islam, so Muslims could not tolerate being ridiculed in this way. The founder of Darul Qalam, Maulana Yasin Akhtar Misbahi said the Muslims of the entire world had rejected the Qadiani sect and a fatwa was in effect against them and therefore, it was intolerable to include them in Muslims or in a book. He also said that the incident also proved that either the author had poor knowledge or he had done it deliberately to create mischief. He demanded that the UP government should take immediate action taking out from the syllabus not only the aforesaid chapter but all such poorly researched material that might mislead the young generation. Joint Secretary of All India Council for the Protection of Finality of the Prophet(PBUH) under Darul Uloom Deoband which is fighting against the ‘false’ propaganda of the Qadianis, Maulana Shah Alam Gorakhpuri told Hamara Samaj that a delegation led by Saharanpur MLA Imran Masud, Haji Md Anas Usmani, Deoband and Amir Usmani, Deoband, conveyed Council’s message to the representatives of the Mayawati government, Nasimuddin Siddiquee , Mr Abudl Mannan and others demanding the removal of the chapter from the syllabus but the state government did not show seriousness over the issue. He said that Hamara Samaj deserved praise for its coverage of the issue over the Ahmadiyya sect and they wanted that the UP government resolve this issue. Renowned Shia scholar and the member of the All India Personal Law Board Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad clearly said, “The Islamic world has declared the Ahmadiyyas as non-Muslims and apostates. How then can we tolerate their inclusion in the Muslim community or in the syllabus?” He asked. He said that including them in the syllabus would mean misleading our new generation. “We, therefore, request the UP government to immediately remove this sect from the syllabus”, he said.

Drawing the government’s attention towards the issue, Maulana Abdul Khalique Sambhali of Darul Ulum Deoband said that the issue was an important religious one of the Muslims and no complacency would be tolerated over it. He demanded that the UP government take action and bring the guilty to the book. The President of the All India Milli Council said that the inclusion of the expelled Ahmadiyya sect would not be tolerated at any cost as it would mislead our new generation. Maulana demanded that the UP government remove it from the book and cleansed the book (committee) of Muslims who are enemies of Islam in the disguise of Muslims.

General Secretary of the Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Mujtaba Faruque argues that the Qadiani sect is in fact a product of the Jews and the Christians. That the centre of the Ahmadiyyas is in Britain is clear testimony to this. He said that the UP government should realise that it was not wise to hurt the Muslims. He warned that they would be compelled to launch a movement if the essay was not expunged immediately.

General Secretary of the All India Majlis-e-Mashawarat , Maulana Umeduzzaman Kairanvi and Secretary Md Ilyas Malik jointly said that they would not tolerate it and the chapter should be removed immediately. They said that the syllabus committee should have realised the dangers of including the sect in the syllabus and called for a stop on hurting Muslim sentiments. Maulana Abdul Wahab Khilji of Jamiat-e-Ahle-Hadith said that those associated with the syllabus committee should know that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani was a product of the British who had promoted Mirza to create schism between the Muslims and their fellow countrymen. Muslims have jointly declared this sect as apostates. I feel that it was done with the purpose of hurting the sentiments of the Muslims, he said. He further said that if the UP government rectifies its mistake, it will be good for it otherwise it may toll the death knell for this government.

Maulana Tauqueer Raza Khan said, “In fact such problems are created to divert Muslims’ attention from their own problems. Such acts are committed to deprive us of our peace of mind. We do not expect Mayawati government to protect Muslims’ interests. But at least as citizens of a democratic country, we will ask the UP government to remove the essay immediately otherwise it should be ready to face the consequences because if it is not done, we shall launch a nationwide movement.”

General Secretary Tanzeem Abna-e-Sharfia, Mubarakpur, UP, Maulana Mubarak Hussain Misbahi reacted strongly saying this was an extremely wrong step taken by the UP government and the essay should be removed immediately. He furher said that since Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani has been expelled from Islam and to include such a person in the ranks of the Muslims hurts sentiments of the Muslims. The former Chairman of the Delhi Minority CommissionKamal Farooquee said that the UP government must punish those guilty of it. He said that there was no alternative to removing such material from the syllabus otherwise the UP government would have to face our agitations. The National President of Muslim Political Council of India Dr Taslim Ahmad Rahmani said the Muslims live on the power of truth. The Ahamadiyya sect can never get a place in the Muslim community till the Day of Judgement, albeit, the Mayawati government will have to pay the price. A teacher in Darul Uloom Salfia, Varanasi, UP said, “All the Muslims in the world are unanimous on the fact that Ahmadiyya sect is out of the purview of Islam. Given the truth, how can we tolerate that this sect is included in the syllabus terming it a parallel sect among the Muslims?” He further said that the essay should be removed immediately otherwise the Muslims would launch a nationwide movement and it will then be difficult for the Mayawati government to face the consequences.

The naib imam of Shia Jama Masjid, Delhi and the Principal of Jamiat-us-Shaheed Maulana Muhsin Taqvi said, “If a sect has already been expelled from Islam, why was such a committee formed that hurt the Muslims’ sentiments?” He warned the UP government of the Muslims’ ire if it did not heed to their protests.
