Beware! Your Faith Can Be Corrupt خبر دار آپ کا عقیدہ خراب ہوسکتا ہے

Beware! The Islamic messages frequently received on your mobile phone can distort your faith. In fact among the useful information, there might be some that come under innovation in Islam. Although in this modern age, mobile phone and other similar inventions are very useful for disseminating Islamic messages, the verification of these messages is also a cumbersome task.
In this regard, on the enquiry of Hamara Samaj, the unanamious opinion of the ulema of all the sects was that one should consult the experts in the Quran and Sunnah before acting upon these Islamic messages otherwise they may lead to an adulteration of your faith.
This correspondent took the issue of sms relating to Islamic teachings seriously when my friend Mufti Aijaz Arshad Qasmi told me about an sms having no reference he received on his mobile informing him that if a person who has not offered namaz in his entire life, offers only four rak’ats of qazai umri in the last night of Ramazan, all his missed namazes will be considered as offered. Not only that some smses attach an obligation of forwarding them to others, telling the recipients that if they forward the message to others, they will be benefitted otherwise they will suffer damage or harm.
This correspondent also receives 5-6 Islamic messages every day. On contacting the numbers from which the messages came, two of the numbers gave taped messages ‘this number is out of service’ or ‘network is not working’. Sensing the gravity of the issue, I contacted all those persons who frequently send such messages. Some of them are: the life member of Dehli Education Society Mr Ibrahim Beg, Delhi Minority Financial Corporation Chairman Mr Tariq Siddiquee, Rahat Hussain from Nainital, UP, Member of Delhi Haj Committee Rahat Hussain, Mufti Aijaz Arshad Qasmi, Jasim Mohammad from Aligarh, Congress leader Farhad Suri, Social activist Hussain Faheem Ahmad, Irshad Ahmad Khan, Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad of Delhi University and Md Ahmad. Some of them send messages frequently while some others have sent me the messages only a couple of times. Apart from them, two numbers could not be identified.
Most intriguing is the fact that I called on the numbers from a phone which shows the name of the state of the number, but it did not show the states. When I asked these persons the reason behind sending these messages, they said they liked them and so forwarded them. Therefore, there is a need to take the issue of messages not having references of the Quran, hadiths and religious personalities seriously.
The ulema who were consulted in this regard are: the Secretary of the Department of Jurisprudence of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind Maulana Abdul Hameed Nomani, the founder and patron of Darul Qalam Maulana Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi, the teacher of hadith and jurisprudence at Jamia Reyazul Uloom, Jama Masjid, Maulana Abdul Ahad Madani Salafi and the Naib Imam of Shia Jama Masjid Delhi Maulana Syed Ali Taqwi.
All the ulema unanimously said that the smses should be verified first and the best way is to consult Sharia experts on whether to follow the messages or not. They were also of the view that it was a good means to convey Islamic messages to others but precaution was necessary as the conspiring nations may insert vices in noble messages.
They also said that some network companies were also doing this and suggested that if they really want to do that they should first seek the opinion of religious experts. Moreover they suggested that people sending the messages should reveal their identities and the source to the recipients.
However, some ulema were also of the opinion that if the messages are about the benefits of deeds and acts, we know about most of them but about those where there is confusion, one should consult a religious scholar lest he should do something which is apparently a noble act but according to Islam, it is termed as innovation.
Ulema termed as fraud all the messages that blackmail recipients into forwarding the messages to others telling them that if they forward the messages to n number of persons they will get sawab (rewards in the hereafter) and if they did not, they will incur harm or damage. They advised us to ignore such messages. The crux of the matter is that the ulema advised the people to act with precaution in this issue.

موبائل کے ذریعہ اسلامی معلومات کے ایس ایم ایس پر علمائے کرام نے کہا ‘‘ عمل سے قبل ماہرین شریعت سے مشورہ کرلیں’’
نئی دہلی: خبردار ہوجائیں کیونکہ ان دنوں انتہائی کثرت کے ساتھ آپ کےموبائل پر پہنچنے والے اسلامی پیغامات آپ کا عقیدہ خراب بھی کرسکتے ہیں۔ دراصل ان تمام بہترین معلومات میں کچھ ایسی بھی ہوسکتی ہیں جو اسلام میں نئی اختر اع کی اصطلاح میں آتی ہوں ۔ حالانکہ اس جدید دور میں اسلامی پیغامات کی ترسیل کیلئے موبائل اور اس طرح کی جدید دریافتیں کافی اچھی ہیں، لیکن ان پیغامات کی چھان بین بھی ایک بڑا مسئلہ ہے۔ اس سلسلہ میں ہمارا سماج کے ذریعہ دریافت کئے گئے تمام مسالک کے علمائے کرام کی متفقہ رائے کے مطابق اس طرح کے اسلامی ایس ایم ایس پر عمل کرنے سے قبل ماہرین قرآن وسنت سے رجوع کرلینا ضروری ہے ورنہ عقیدہ خراب ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔
خاص طور پررمضان المبارک میں کثرت سے موبائل پر موصول ہونے والے اسلامی معلومات پر مشتمل ایس ایم ایس کے تعلق سے نمائندہ نے اس وقت سنجیدگی اختیار کی جب ایک ایس ایم ایس کے بارے میں ایک دوست مفتی اعجاز ارشد قاسمی نے بتایا کہ ان کے موبائل پر ایک ایس ایم ایس بغیر حوالہ کے آیا کہ ‘‘اگر کوئی شخص پوری عمر نماز نہ پڑھے اور رمضان المبارک کی آخری رات میں چار رکعت قضائے عمری ادا کرلے تو اس کی پوری عمر کی چھوٹی ہوئی تمام نمازیں ادا ہوجائیں گی۔ اتنا ہی نہیں کچھ ایس ایم ایس ایسے بھی آتے ہیں ،جن میں شرط ہوتی ہے کہ اگر اس کو آپ نے دوسروں تک بھیجا تو آپ کو فائدہ ہوگا اور اگر نہیں بھیجا تو آپ کو نقصان ہوسکتا ہے ۔ نمائندے کے موبائل پر بھی روزکم وبیش 6۔5اسلامی ایس ایم ایس آجاتے ہیں ۔ نمائندے نے ایک دن ان تمام ارسال کنندگان سے رابطہ کیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ بھیجنے والوں میں دو نمبرات ایسے ہیں جن کے ڈائل کرنے پر یا تونیٹ ورک کمپنیوں کی طرف سے آٹومیٹک طور پربھری ہوئی آواز سنائی دیتی ہے کہ ‘‘یہ نمبر بند ہے’’ یا‘‘ نیٹ ورک کام نہیں کررہا ہے’’ ۔
نمائندے نے معاملے کی سنگینی کو بھانتے ہوئے اپنے ان دوستوں سے رجوع کیا جو اس طرح کے ایس ایم ایس بھیجتے ہیں۔ ان میں اینگلو عربک اسکول کی منتظمہ دہلی ایجوکیشن سوسائٹی کے تاحیات رکن مسٹر ابراہیم بیگ ،دہلی اقلیتی مالیاتی کارپوریشن کے چئیر مین طارق صدیقی ،نینی تال یوپی سے راحت حسین، دہلی حج کمیٹی کے رکن محمد شکیل سیفی ، مفتی اعجاز ارشد قاسمی، علی گڑھ سے جسیم محمد، کانگریسی لیڈر فرہاد سوری ،سماجی کارکن حسین فہیم احمد، ارشاد احمد خان ، دہلی یونیورسٹی کے ڈاکٹر امتیاز احمد اور محمد احمد وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ان میں کچھ لوگ کثرت سے بھیجتے ہیں ،جبکہ کچھ لوگوں نے نمائندے کے پاس ایک یا دو بار ایسے پیغامات بھیجے ہیں۔ علاوہ ازیں دو ایسے نمبرات کی نشاندہی بھی ہوئی جن کا کوئی اتہ پتہ نہیں ۔
ان میں کچھ حیرانی اس وقت ہوئی جب ایسے موبائل سیٹ سے فون کیا گیا، جس میں موبائل کی متعلقہ ریاست بھی شو ہوتی ہے، لیکن ان دونوں میں سے ایک نمبر پر ریاست شو نہیں کی گئی۔ نمائندے نے پیغامات بھیجنے والے اکثر احباب سے دریافت کیا تو پایا کہ انہیں یہ پیغام اچھا لگا اس لئے بھیج دیا ۔ اس تعلق سے ان پیغامات پر کافی سنجیدگی کی ضرورت محسوس ہوئی، جن میں قرآن مجید ،احادیث شریف اور بزرگوں کے حوالے نہیں ہوتے۔ اس تعلق سے جن علمائے کرام سے مشورہ کیا گیا ان میں جمعیۃ علما ہند کے فقہی شعبہ کے سکریٹری مولانا عبد الحمید نعمانی ،دارالقلم کے بانی وسرپرست مولانا یاسین اختر مصباحی ،جامعہ ریاض العلوم جامع مسجد کے استاذ حدیث وفقہ مولانا عبد الاحد مدنی سلفی اور شیعہ جامع مسجد دہلی کے نائب امام مولانا سید علی نقوی شامل ہیں۔ ان سبھی علمائے کرام کی متفقہ رائے تھی کہ پہلے ان پیغامات کی جانچ کرلینی چاہئے اور اس کا بہتر طریقہ ہے کہ شرعی امور کےماہرین سےرائے لی جائے کہ ایا اس پیغام پر عمل کرنا ٹھیک ہوگا یا نہیں، پھر ان پر عمل کیا جائے۔
ان کا یہ بھی کہنا تھا کہ اسلامی پیغامات ایک دوسرے کے پاس پہنچا نے کا یہ اچھا ذریعہ ہے، لیکن احتیاط ضروری ہے، کیونکہ دنیا کی سازشی قومیں اچھائیوں میں برائیاں بھی شامل کرسکتی ہیں۔ ان علما ئے کرام کا یہ بھی کہنا تھا کہ کچھ نیٹ ورک کمپنیاں بھی اس طرح کے کاموں میں سرگرم عمل ہیں، لیکن اگر وہ واقعی ایسا کچھ کرنا چاہتی ہیں تو انہیں سب سے پہلے ایک ماہر عالم دین کو ان پیغامات پر رائے لینی ہوگی۔انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ جو لوگ ایس ایم ایس بھیجتے ہیں انہیں اس شخص کو بتا دینا چاہئے کہ یہ پیغام انہوں نے بھیجا ہے اور اس کا ذریعہ کیا ہے۔البتہ ان میں کچھ علما کی رائے یہ بھی تھی کہ اگر فضا ئل کی بات ہوتو بہت سارے فا ئل کے بارے میں ہمیں معلوم ہے، لیکن اگر کچھ میں شک ہوتو ان پیغامات کے بارے میں بھی فوری کسی عالم دین سے دریافت کرلینا چاہئے ،تاکہ کہیں وہ کسی ایسے عمل میں نہ پھنس جائیں جوبظاہر اچھا لگتا ہو، لیکن وہ اسلام میں اختر اع کے درجہ میں آتا ہے ۔ علمائے کرام نے ان پیغامات کو بالکل فراڈ بتایا جس میں لوگوں کو ذہنی طور پر بلیک میل کیا جاتا ہے کہ اگر یہ پیغام دوسروں تک بھیجا تو اس کا اتنا ثواب ملے گا اور اگر نہیں بھیجا تو خسارہ ہوسکتا ہے ۔ علمائے کرام نے کہا کہ ایسی فضول چیزوں پر دھیان نہیں دینا چاہئے ۔ حاصل کلام یہ کہ علمائے کرام نے ا س معاملے میں حد درجہ احتیاط سے کام لینے کا مشورہ دیا۔
