Come Eid And ISIS Fighters Will Get Slave Girls As Prize For Memorizing Surahs Of The Holy Quran: What Do Our Ulema Say To This?

There cannot be a greater contempt of the holy Quran that guaranteed respect, honour and equal rights to women. During the month of Ramzan, the ISIS held Quran memorization contest for its fighters. The winners of the contest will get slave girls as prize and as encouragement for memorizing the Quran. The verses chosen for the contest are the Makkan verses that speak of qital and fighting with the ‘kafirs’. The  verses are Surah Muhammad, Surat al-Tawba, Surah Fath and Surah Anfal. The ISIS is doing this to revive the Arab tribal tradition of ‘Sibya’ in which human beings are given away as prize.

During its fight, the ISIS captured many women and girls from their captured territory. These women are treated as slaves and sold as used up utensils in the market. It is reported that the ISIS captured more than three hundred Yazidi women. Apart from them, there are also Christian women. Muslim women and girls who tried to escape those who do not subscribe to their ideology are also treated as prisoners and slave girls.

The ISIS will give all these women as prize to the fighters who win the contest. The first three winners will get women while the fourth to tenth will get cash prizes. The interested candidates are asked to contact four mosques run by the ISIS government: Mosque Osama Bin Laden, Mosque Abu Bakr Siddique, Mosque Abu Musab Zarqawi and Mosque Al Taqwa.

By giving slave girls as prize, the ISIS wants to revive the tribal Arab tradition of slavery and by doing so it has shown that it observes the original and literal form of Islam.

The Ifta Council of Egypt has severely condemned this practice of the ISIS by declaring it un-Islamic and a violation of the rights of women which Islam prohibits. However, no fatwa of condemnation from any other Ifta body of India or abroad has come to light. The Islamic world has been a silent spectator to all the inhuman practices of the ISIS. The Indian muftis and ulema have also not condemned the anti-Islam acts and practices of the ISIS. They did not speak out even when the self-styled Khalifa Baghdadi said a few weeks ago that "Islam had never been a religion of peace, not even for a day; Islam has always been a religion of strife and war."

Surat al-Fath

From the first of Ramadan 1436 until the 20th of Ramadan

Whoever wants to participate must register with the imams of the following mosques.

The Mosque of Abu Musab el-Zarqawi

The Mosque of el-Taqwa

In the name of Allah, the competitors will be divided and marked between the dates Ramadan 21st until Ramadan 27th. The prizes will be distributed on the first day of Eid ul-Fitr in the name of Allah.
