Seema Haider on Saturday
celebrated 'Hariyali Teej' by fasting and performing pooja for the well-being
of her husband Sachin Meena.
This festival holds great
importance for married women as they seek blessings for the prosperity and
longevity of their husbands. This occasion commemorates the sacred connection
between husband and wife. The first day of Teej, known as HariyaliTeej or the
"green festival," marks the advent of the monsoon season and the
beginning of the wedding season.
The subsequent day, 'HartalikaTeej',
involves fasting for married women. From dawn till dusk, they abstain from
food, beseeching for the enduring happiness and well-being of their life
partners.
Like any other Hindu women,
Seema Haider, who illegally entered India via Nepal to be with Noida-based
Sachin Meena, prayed for her husband's well-being.
During the Pooja, Seema
performed 'Aarti' and after that, she also offered tika to all the family
including her husband and children in a viral video. On the day of Teej, she
was seen in a green saree.
In the clip, Seema Haider
claimed that she has performed Pooja for the well-being of her family members
and sent her festival wishes to the nation. She ended the clip by saying 'Jai
Shri Ram'.
Seema Haider, a married
Muslim woman from Pakistan and mother of four, came across 22-year-old Sachin
Meen on PUBG during the pandemic in 2020. After falling in love, she left her
country and married him in Nepal.
On the other hand, her
Pakistani husband Ghulam Haider is pleading the Indian government to send her
back to her country and will reportedly come to India to meet her wife, who has
refused to go to her country after embracing Hinduism.

The number of detainees in
Iran's Gilan province has risen to 13 after the apprehension reported Friday of
12 people on charges related to "activities against national
security," AzizollahMaleki, the commander of Gilan's Law Enforcement
Force, said.
According to the state
supported ILNA news agency, Maleki did not disclose the identities of the
recently detained individuals in Gilan. He did reveal that "considerable
quantities of tools and materials for anti-system propaganda, as well as
communication devices for opposing networks, were located and confiscated from
the suspects' hideouts."
He said in a statement that
"officers of the Public Security Police acted upon reports of unlawful
conduct attributed to specific individuals in Rasht, Anzali, Fouman, and Lahijan
cities, coinciding with the anniversary of last year's incidents." He was
referring to the widespread protests following the death of Mahsa Amini while
in custody for allegedly disobeying the dress code.

Jaranwala Incident Against
Islamic Teachings: Senator Samina Zehri
AUGUST 19, 2023
Senator Samina Zehri said on
Friday termed intolerance and extremism the most dangerous process in the
deterioration of our society. “Muslim society in strong terms condemn the
burning of homes of the Christian community and their holy church”, she said in
a statement issued here. Senator Samina said that Pakistan was an Islamic and
democratic country where every religion enjoyed complete freedom. “Jaranwala
incident is very sad and highly condemnable,” she said, adding that the
incident should be investigated with complete impartiality and whoever is found
involved in this heinous act should be severely punished so that such incidents
do not happen in future. As far as scholars and religious figures are
concerned, the most responsibility is imposed on them because it is their duty
to promote the religion of Islam and to convey the teachings of the last
Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAW). To get rid of the scourge of extremism
and intolerance, we all have to play our own role, she said. She underlined the
need for creating harmony among people of various religions and said, if we
want to save our children from Intolerance, we have to include subjects on this
subject in the curriculum. People of all schools of thought, should all play
their positive role so that our future generations can have a beautiful society
full of love, brotherhood and peace, she expressed.

Swedish Police Detain Woman
For Fire Extinguisher Attack On Anti-Islam Activist
19 AUG 2023
In a dramatic incident in
Stockholm, Swedish authorities have apprehended a woman who took direct action
against an anti-Islam activist, deploying a fire extinguisher during his
Quran-burning demonstration outside the Iranian embassy. Captured on video, the
woman rapidly approached Salwan Momika, dousing him with a cloud of white
powder before plainclothes police officers intervened to escort her away from
the scene. Remarkably unharmed, Momika resumed his protest, which had been
granted police authorization.
The woman, unnamed by
authorities, now faces detention on charges of disturbing public order and
violence against a police officer, according to police spokeswoman ToweHagg.
Momika, a refugee hailing from Iraq, has been at the center of a series of
anti-Islam protests involving Quran desecration, actions that have ignited fury
within certain Muslim nations. Despite the controversy, Swedish law enforcement
has permitted Momika's demonstrations, arguing in favor of free speech, albeit
while pursuing preliminary charges of hate speech, as reported by Al jazeera.
This contentious situation
has prompted prosecutors to delve into the compatibility of Momika's actions
with Sweden's hate speech legislation, which proscribes the incitement of
hatred based on race, religion, or sexual orientation. Notably, Momika has
insisted that his demonstrations target the religion of Islam itself, rather
than the individuals who practice it.
The ripples of these
Quran-burning events have surged beyond the borders of Sweden, generating
fervent protests in Muslim countries, precipitating attacks on Swedish
diplomatic outposts, and breeding a series of ominous threats.
