read this description carefully and share with others.
How can a
person be legally certified as an Indian under the Citizenship Act of 1955?*
Do Each
Of The Following:
1. Write the *Date of Birth* of each person in
the household.
2. Divide it into three categories:
A. People born before July 1, 1987
B. People Born Between July 1, 1987 And
December 31, 2004
C. Born after December 31, 2004
3. Now, make sure that those born before July
1, 1987 have a birth certificate or passport. If so, they are directly Indian
by birth. No other evidence is required.
4. All persons born after July 1, 1987 must
ensure possession of a birth certificate. If they have,
A. Ensure that one of the parents born between
July 1987 and December 2004 is an Indian.
B. Ensure that their parents' birth, name and
other details in the passport match exactly with the birth certificate. If so,
they are also Indian by descent. No other evidence is required.
5. Persons born after December 2004 should
have both parents Indian and their names should exactly match in their
certificates. If so, they are also of Indian origin. No other evidence is
required.
Based on the above, everyone should check at
home and take a list of those who do not have a passport or birth certificate.
*To get passport,* one can get passport by
submitting Aadhaar Card, PAN Card or Ration Card. It's simple.
To Obtain Birth Certificate:
1. If you were born in a hospital, go to the
area village/taluka/corporation office where the hospital is located and apply
with details. Its price is only 200 rupees. It is easily available.
2. If born at home,
Prepare an affidavit with notary certificate
stating that there is no birth certificate and submit it to your
village/taluka/corporation office. They will provide a proof that there is no
birth certificate. Present it to the District Court. 200 per annum will be
levied and a certificate will be issued.
