The terrorist attacks on the mazars of Data Ganjbaksh and Abdullah Shah Ghazi and now on the mazar of Baba Farid Ganjshakar has shocked the Muslims not only in the subcontinent but of the whole world. Six people were killed and several were injured including women in these attacks. What target do the terrorists want to achieve by attacking the mazars of the Sufis? The Islam which is seen in the subcontinent is the gift of the Sufis and the attackers targeting their mazars do not deserve even to be called human beings let alone Muslims. The followers of these Sufis form a clear majority in the subcontinent but Al Qaida, Tehreek Taliban Pakistan and other terrorist organisations of Pakistan are critically opposed to this concept of Islam and consider it as a big obstacle in the spread of their jihadi ideology. Baba Farid’s mazar is in Pakistan but he has deep relations with India. All the Sufi monasteries of India are associated with the dargah of Baba Farid. Even the construction of his dargah was done under the personal supervision of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. He is considered the first poet of Punjabi language. Guru Gobind Singh had included all his chaupais in Guru Granth Sahab. His name is included on the list of the 15 Bhakt Gurus of the Sikhs. Ibn Batuta has also mentioned his name as a great Sufi. There is no doubt that the satanic chain of bomb attacks on the mazars of the Sufis of Islam is the part of a dangerous plan. It is a conspiracy to bathe the great Indian subcontinent in blood and an unholy game of stoking the religious and sectarian fire. Pakistani rulers have failed miserably in stopping this game. The ruling section is unable to gauge the gravity of this conspiracy. The government institutions are paying more attention to the so-called war on terror but are unaware of the state of affairs in their own backyard where another Afghanistan is in the making. They do not have the courage to confront the real terrorists. Several organisations in India have condemned the attack on Baba Farid’s mazar. All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board has condemned the attack in the harshest terms and demanded strong action from the Pakistan government. The Board has stated that those attacking dargahs and spreading terror in the name of Islam cannot be Muslims. Muslim Students Organisation of India General Secretary Shah Nawaz Warsi said that the people attacking the mazars of the Sufis were killing the soul of Islam. He added that by attacking the mazars they have made it clear that they have no relations with Islam. |
The General Secretary of All India Jamaat Reza-e-Mustafa Maulana Shahabuddin Bareillvi said that Taliban were regularly attacking dargahs in Pakistan but the government was not taking any action. The Sajjada Nashin of Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Syed Aziz Nizami said that Baba Farid did not belong to any single country. He is known for peace and fraternity all over the world. The attack on his dargah was an attack on humanity.
We should not ignore the fact that the Sufi culture of Kashmir is also on the agenda of these terrorist organisations. In the past too there have been attempts to incite people on sectarian lines there but the people foiled their conspiracies. The turmoil going on for the last four months in the valley has also boosted the morale of the separatists but the majority of the Kashmiri people has realised that violence is not the solution to any problem.
The Kashmir Conference held in the Ram Lila Maidan in Delhi on the 31st October has also sent the same message to the Kashmiri people that all the Muslims of the country want a solution within the framework of the Constitution because as a citizen the interests of the Muslims of the country are not different from their interests. A peaceful and democratic process alone can defeat anti-national elements.

پاکستان میں داتا گنج بخشؒ اور عبداللہ شاہ غازیؒ کےمزارات پر دہشت گردانہ حملوں کے بعداب معروف صوفی بزرگ بابا فرید گنج شکرؒ کے مزار کے باہر ہوئے حالیہ بم دھماکے نے صرف برصغیر بلکہ دنیا بھر کے مسلمانوں کو صدمہ پہنچا یا ہے۔اس دھماکے میں چھ افراد ہلاک اور کئی زخمی ہوگئے تھے جن میں خواتین بھی شامل تھیں۔ آخر دہشت گردصوفیائے اسلام کے مزارات کونشانہ بنا کر کون سے اہداف حاصل کرنا چاہتےہیں ۔ آج برصغیر میں جو اسلام نظر آرہا ہے یہ انہیں صوفیائے اسلام کی دین ہے اور ان کے درگاہوں پر حملہ کرنے والے مسلمان تو کیا انسان کہلانے کے لائق نہیں ہیں ۔ ان صوفی حضرات کے پیروکار برصغیر کے مسلمانوں میں واضح اکثریت رکھتے ہیں لیکن القاعدہ اور تحریک طالبان پاکستان اور دوسری دہشت گرد تنظیمیں اسلام کے اس تصور کی شدید مخالف ہیں اور وہ اسے اپنے جہاد ی نظریات کے فروغ میں ایک بڑی رکاوٹ تصور کرتی ہیں۔
بابا فریدؒ کا مزار بھلے ہی آج پاکستان میں ہے لیکن ان کا ہندوستان کے ساتھ گہرا رشتہ ہے۔ ہندوستان کی تمام صوفی درگاہیں بابا فرید ؒ کی درگاہ سے جڑی ہوئی ہیں ۔ ان کی درگاہ کی تعمیر بھی حضرت نظام الدین اولیاؒ نے اپنی دیکھ ریکھ میں کرائی تھی ۔ ان کو پنجابی کا سب سے پہلا شاعر مانا جاتا ہے۔ گروگرنتھ صاحب میں ان کی تمام چوپائیوں کو گروگووند سنگھ نے شامل کیا تھا ۔ سکھوں کے 15بھگت گرو میں بھی ان کا نام شامل ہے۔ ابن بطوطہ نے بھی اپنے سفر نامے میں ان کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے انہیں ایک صوفی بزرگ قرار دیا ہے
اس میں کوئی شک وشبہ کی گنجائش نہیں ہے کہ صوفیائے اسلام نے مزارات پر بم دھماکوں کا یہ شیطانی سلسلہ ایک انتہائی خطرناک منصوبہ کا حصہ ہے ۔ یہ برعظیم ہند کو خون میں نہلادینے کی سازش اور مذہبی ومسلکی جنون کی آگ بھڑکانے کا ناپاک کھیل ہے ۔ پاکستان کی حکومت اس کھیل کو روکنے میں بری طرح ناکام ہوچکی ہے اور وہاں کا حکمراں طبقہ اس سازش کی سنگینی کےاحساس وادراک سے قاصر ہے۔پاکستان کے حکومتی ادارے انسداد دہشت گردی کی نام نہاد جنگ پر زیادہ توجہ دے رہے ہیں لیکن اپنے گھر کے حالات سےبے خبر ہیں جہاں ایک اور افغانستان پیدا ہورہا ہے ۔ ان میں اصل دہشت گردوں پر ہاتھ ڈالنے کی سکت نہیں ہے۔ ہندوستان کی مختلف تنظیموں نے بابا فرید ؒ کے مزار کو نشانہ بنانے کی سخت مذمت کی ہے۔ آل انڈیا علما ومشائخ بورڈ نے اس بم دھماکے کے سخت مذمت کرتے ہوئے حکومت پاکستان سے دہشت گردوں کے خلاف سخت سے سخت کارروائی کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ بورڈ نے کہا ہے کہ اس طرح صوفیوں کی درگاہوں پر حملہ کرنے والے اور اسلام کے نام پر دہشت گردی پھیلانے والے مسلمان نہیں ہوسکتے ۔ مسلم اسٹوڈنٹس آرگنائزیشن آف انڈیا کے جنرل سکریٹری شاہ نواز وارثی نے کہا کہ صوفی حضرات کے مزار پر حملہ کر کے ان افراد نے یہ باور کرادیا ہے کہ اسلام سے ان کا کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔ آل انڈیا جماعت رضائے مصطفیٰ کے جنرل سکریٹری مولانا شہاب الدین بریلوی نے کہا کہ طالبان لگاتار پاکستان میں ایسی درگاہوں کو نشانہ بنارہے ہیں لیکن حکومت کوئی قدم نہیں اٹھارہی ہے۔ درگاہ حضرت نظام الدین ؒ کے سجادہ نشین سید عزیز نظامی نے کہا کہ بابا فرید ؒ کسی ایک ملک کی جاگیر نہیں ہیں ۔ وہ پوری دنیا میں امن اور بھائی چارے کے لئے جانے جاتے ہیں ۔ ان کی درگاہ پر حملہ انسانت پر حملہ ہے۔
ہمیں یہ بھی نہیں بھولنا ہے کہ پاکستان میں سرگرم ان تنظیموں کے ایجنڈے پر ہندوستان خصوصاً کشمیر صوفیانہ تہذیب بھی ہے۔ ماضی میں وہاں بھی کئی بار مسلکی بنیادوں پر عوام کو بہکانے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے لیکن عوام نے ان سازشوں کو کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیا ۔ وادی میں گزشتہ چار ماہ سے جاری شورش نے بھی علیحدگی پسند عناصر کے حوصلے بلند کردیئے ہیں لیکن کشمیری عوام کی اکثریت یہ سمجھ چکی ہے کہ تشدد کسی مسئلے کا حل نہیں ہے۔31اکتوبر کو دہلی کے رام لیلا میدان میں منعقد کشمیر کانفرنس نے بھی کشمیر ی عوام کو یہ واضح پیغام دیا ہے کہ ملک کے تمام مسلمان ان کے مسائل کا حل آئین کےاندر تلاش کرنے کے خواہش مند ہیں ،کیونکہ بحیثیت ایک شہری ان کے اور عام ہندوستانی مسلمانوں کے مفادات علٰیحدہ نہیں ہیں ۔ ایک پر امن اور جمہوری طریقہ کار ہی ملک دشمن عناصر کو شکست دے سکتا ہے۔
