War is without a doubt a curse and a
manifestation of God's wrath. The fighting scene is just horrible. Somewhere,
heads are being cut off. Several bodies are seen with blood all over them.
Vultures and hawks swoop low. Carrion-eating animals circle the corpses and
scrape them. One's heart aches at the sight of the bloody soldiers. Millions of
women become widows. Millions of kids become orphans. Many elderly parents shed
bloody tears in grief over the loss of their cherished offspring. The bombing
demolishes every structure, including mosques, markets, gathering places, and
hospitals. The pandemic begins. Stunning skyscrapers crumble to the ground. The
financial markets are chaotic. Life's essentials disappear. The horrors and
devastation of war are beyond description.
On the other hand, peace is undeniably a gift
from God; without it, constructive work is impossible. History has shown that
nations only progress in times of peace. Without peace, advancement in the arts
and sciences cannot be made. One's heart and mind are meaningless if they are
clouded by dread of conflict. His creative abilities are crippled. The level of
satisfaction drops. But when there is peace throughout the nation, all kinds of
accomplishments and growth are made. Expanded transportation options are
available. Training and education are widely disseminated. New highways are
constructed. Industry, crafts, and trade are promoted. During a war, all
attention is directed toward weaponry. To prepare military supplies, every
resource at our disposal is sought after. Factories are also used to
manufacture war items. Basic necessities of life are not available.
During the reign of Queen Victoria, development
and construction would not have taken place in England if there had not been
complete peace, happiness, and comfort for all. England was at its height of
prosperity at the time. The war against Hitler began immediately, causing
incalculable damage to the British Empire. In actuality, Britain lost a big
empire and became completely empty as a result of its oppression and
inferiority. As the British colonies and territories were gradually ceded,
Great Britain's might began to wane. This was the outcome of the war.
In a similar vein, most of the progress that
Russia made took place during the peacetime rule of Stalin and Lenin. Stalin
made his underdeveloped nation great. It is now regarded as one of the two
world superpowers. America and Russia are currently the two most powerful
countries in the world. Russia achieved incredible strides during the 20 years
of peace and serenity it experienced following the First World War, and it was
able to overcome Hitler in the Second World War, beating a sophisticated and
powerful nation like Germany. The entire world is now aware of its strength and
development. Right now, not even a strong government like the United States
would dare wage war against it.
The history of the United States is more proof
that only peace times are conducive to a country's progress. The growth rate of
America began with the end of the nineteenth-century civil war and the
subsequent era of calm and peace that followed the nation's victory in the War
of Independence. The secret of American progress in the 20th century was that
it did not engage in any internal conflicts. The two biggest wars in human
history were fought thousands of miles away from the United States in Europe,
Africa, and Asia. The American people continued on the path of growth with
satisfaction after being shielded from the horrors and destruction of the war.
It is currently the richest and most powerful country. It has outperformed all
other nations in science and the arts. Two and a half million kilometres away,
on the moon, American astronauts have travelled. America has invested billions
of rupees in the development of rockets and spacecraft.
Only in a setting of peace and tranquilly can the
problems of the world be handled. Consider the problems of hunger, disease,
illiteracy, unemployment, poverty, and starvation as an example. These problems
can only be handled with the collaboration and unity of the major world powers.
It can only happen when there is peace, law, and order. In the event of a
conflict, the developed nations will be engulfed in their own confusion and
unable to concentrate on the situation of the developing countries.
The secret to the well-being of the world is thus
peace and tranquillity. Everyone can see the benefits of peace. Who is unaware
that the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Red Fort in Delhi, and the Ajanta Alora Caves
in Maharashtra are gifts from the period of peace? These distinctive works of
architecture and stone carving serve as symbols of peace. In actuality, the
world's wonders are the fruits of the toil and labour of the age of peace. We
should build commercial links with our neighbours while also leading calm,
tranquil lives of our own so that peace can spread throughout all nations and
people can live happy lives.
For us Indians, fraternity, unity, and tolerance
are crucial because our nation is home to people of every religion,
nationality, colour, and cultural tradition. What connects us as a nation is
not our shared religion, colour, race, culture, or language, but rather our
shared brotherhood for one another. The spirit of unity that permeates this
nation was not accidentally developed; rather, it has grown over many years in
the soil and spirit of this nation.
Iman and Islam, which both promote stability and
harmony, are two resources Muslims in India can use to win over the hearts of
the population despite the fact that they are a minority. According to the
Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him), a believer is a person in whose care
everyone's lives and property are secure. The Muslim, he said, is the one whose
hands and tongues the people are safe from. The message of peace is not only
for Muslims; both Muslims and non-Muslims should heed it and help India reach
the heights of prosperity and success.
