In Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath's government banned the
sale of products with Halal Certificate. After this a controversy broke out
regarding this. A case has been registered in Lucknow against many companies
having Halal Certification. Actually, some companies were doing illegal
business in the name of Halal Certification. Products like dairy, textiles,
sugar, snacks, spices, and soap were also being certified as Halal.
