When China attacked India in 1962, Ajmer's Dargah gave two kilos of gold and one lakh rupees to the army.

There was a special prayer in the Dargah every day for the army. Ali Mohammad Shah, father of Zamiruddin Shah and Naseeruddin Shah was the Nazim of the Dargah.<
