The Erroneous Charges Of
Extremism And Violence Against The Holy Prophet Are Nothing More Than A
Manifestation Of Hatred And Prejudice
Main Points:
1. Some
individuals seek to incite enmity toward Islam and sow doubts in the minds of
ordinary Muslims.
2. The
anti-Islamic forces entirely disregard the thirteen years of the Prophet's
blessed life during which he and his Companions were subjected to oppression by
the enemies of Islam.
3. It
is imperative that we not be influenced by these anti-Islamic opponents,
whether they be terrorists or Islamophobes, by their false accusations and
deceitful views.
4. Let
the forgiving lessons drawn from the Prophet’s life serve to enlighten
societies to foster a culture of high morality, polite behaviour, compassion,
security, peace, tolerance and brotherhood in our community.

Some individuals seek to incite
enmity toward Islam and sow doubts in the minds of ordinary Muslims. They keep
working tirelessly to demonstrate that Islam is devoid of all kinds of values
in order to fulfil their objectives. When they believe it will help them
achieve their goal, they don't hesitate to deny historical facts. The intellect
is astounded at how someone might dare to dispute historical facts in the name
of knowledge! However, we have seen that certain individuals on this planet
have distorted the unambiguous instructions and enlightened teachings of their
sacred religious texts in order to advance their own materialistic
perspectives. So, those who have a tendency to deny historical evidence in
order to achieve their goal do not consider it to be morally reprehensible.
The forces that oppose Islam
are fully aware that the religion's success depends on its compassionate
teachings and the kind character of the Prophet. They know full well that if
they do not, they would not be able to achieve their goals, thus they are
forced to conceal this truth. If it is made known to people that those who
backed the Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) were in
fact touched by the Prophet's kind and compassionate deeds, they will start to
adore Islam. The human race, which is being crushed in the mill of oppression
and persecution, can seek refuge at the feet of Islam only if the truth is made
known throughout the world that Islam is a religion of mercy, and that Rahmatul
Lil Aalamin is its Messenger, and that the One God whom Islam commands to
be worshipped is the Most Merciful and the Most Gracious.
After disobeying Allah, Iblis
publicly threatened to prevent Adam's (peace be upon him) offspring from the
correct path. Iblis' descendants kept on expanding, just like Hazrat Adam's
(peace be upon him) offspring did. However, some humans were also well-known
among Iblis' adherents. These followers also include the names of Islam's
adversaries who have accused the Prophet of violence and extremism in an effort
to defame Islam and the Prophet of Islam.
The anti-Islamic forces
entirely disregard the thirteen years of the Prophet's blessed life during
which he and his Companions were subjected to oppression by the enemies of
Islam who also accuse him of violence and terrorism. They fail to remember how
the Makkan mushriks spent years brutalising Muslims and destroying Islam. They
also disregard the events that followed the Prophet's pardon, which occurred as
a result of the Prophet's mercy, while making these charges. They only monitor
Muslim military actions that were really defensive and carried out in defence
of their deeply held beliefs and way of life.
We shall discuss these
defensive measures in the next episodes, God willing. I want to make it clear
right now that the allegation of violence against the Holy Prophet is entirely
false. Realistically speaking, the accusers wouldn't disregard the Prophet's
teachings on mercy and compassion. However, as I've already shown, when someone
has evil intentions, they tend to think that lying is a really wonderful thing.
However, it is imperative that we not be influenced by these anti-Islamic
opponents, whether they be terrorists or Islamophobes, by their false
accusations and deceitful views, but rather that we take into account the
gentle and loving lessons derived from the life of our beloved Prophet.
Let these forgiving lessons
serve to enlighten the homes, neighbourhoods, and small elders in order to
foster a culture of high morality, polite behaviour, compassion, security and
peace, tolerance and forgiveness, brotherhood, and support in our community.
Thus, a peaceful society free from oppression will emerge and cause great
benefits for our country.
