Islam is exemplification as well as an institution of justice. The Islamic system is a function (depends upon) of justice. It is an honest and even track, and the Muslim society lives out egalitarianism and justice. There is the safeguarding of physical health but not at the cost of others. Equally important is spiritual illumination and ethical elevation. The Five Pillars of Islam are five basic rules in Islam that all Muslims should follow. The Shahadah (Declaration of faith) means there is no other god except Allah and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the messenger/prophet of Allah. It can be recited on conversion to Islam since it the foundational stone in Islam. Prayer comes next. We have to pray five times a day, kneeling towards Mecca. Then comes fasting during the month of Ramadan. Islamic Fasting is an act of refrainment from eating or drinking brews when people are motivated to break the fast in an arranged and collective manner in the evening and to share the dawn meal that is a sign of the commencing of every single day’s fast. Charity or alms-giving Zakat (religious tax) is the next pillar. Each year a Muslim should give money to charity (Usually 2.5% of their savings). If a person does not have much money, they can give services to others instead. Last but not least is Hajj, a Pilgrimage to Mecca.
Islam demands respect and affection to the virtuous or reverent persons coupled with contending on animosity in contradiction to the guidelines of Allah. On one hand, it emphasizes knowledge acquisition and on another hand it takes account of actions of noble conducts. No doubt, we ought to have faith in Allah, but, we need to sincerely embark upon the journey to accomplish our goals. Islam permits getting hold of personal income and wealth, but also it also forbids obtaining wealth at the cost of others and taking unjustifiable and too much benefit of possession and harming the welfare of other people. If it vouches for discounting a wrongdoer or transgressor it also maintains prosecution of castigatory rules and no cutbacks in sentences or penalties.
The last of the justly directed Caliphs, Hazrat Ali, known for his justice, when told by the people about the virtue and devotion of a person offering his supplications, he requested about the intent and the character of a person.
The treatise and notions on social justice are a matter of open-minded and objective relations between people and the society which is measured by the unequivocal and unspoken expressions for the income and wealth distributions, prospects for human activity and social opportunities. Almost in all societies of the world, we often find an understanding of social justice in terms of the processes of ensuring the individuals bring about their societal roles and take delivery of what was their due from society (Clark, 2015).
Roles are the undertakings and behaviours that are usually anticipated of one who occupies a specific place or status and the discourse and philosophies in relation to roles occupy most important structures of social life (Biddle, 1986). They not only offer visions but also carry different recompenses. In a society, different occupations should be carried honestly so as to realize social justice. The system of equality and non-discrimination is entitled as social justice and it is an important constituent of ideal societies. In a society if not the extraordinary signalling mantras or mottos take a strong point from their pedigrees or backgrounds they will fail to understand or appreciate social justice and do not move forward of motto boosting. The watchword of social justice is talked every now and then in most states but in practice we will not find even a minor hint or drop of social justice in their governments because such catchphrases are not constructed on genuineness, naturalness, and authenticity. Islam has gifted a man with the holy Quran which offers the right knowledge and right things to keep an eye on and their consequential outcomes.
In Islam, it is obligatory to stand for honesty, objectivity and fair-mindedness in letter and spirit. Allah says in the Holy Quran that he is with those who are just. As a consequence justice is a promise and a necessary condition for happiness here and hereafter and discrimination is the root cause for melancholy. Social Justice and contentment are, for that reason, indistinguishably interlinked.
