Islam
Incorporates The Idea Of Establishing World Peace
Key
points:
1. He who has three characteristics has
perfected belief; holding a sense of justice in oneself, offering peace to the
world, and spending in the cause of Allah despite difficult circumstances.
2. Hazrat Ammar is an example who
advocated peacemaking rather than retribution despite the fact he suffered
horrendous persecution at the hands of the tyrants of Makkah
3. Islamic teachings hold that
administering justice must be done with the intention of establishing pure
justice rather than out of desperation, coercion, political pressure, or
affection.

Islam
entails bringing peace to the world, according to the title of a chapter that
the Muhaddeseen penned for their hadith books. In
this chapter, Imam Bukhari mentions three key lessons of Islam: first, uphold
justice without fear or bias; second, promote world peace; and third, spend in
the way of Allah despite material difficulties, such as by providing for the
needs of the underprivileged and impoverished.
Imam
Bukhari recounts 'Ammar ibn Yasir as saying, "Whoever has three traits has
perfected the faith: holding a sense of justice in yourself, spending in
charity despite tough circumstances, and offering peace to the world."
This statement follows the title "Offering peace is a part of Islam."
Hazrat Ammar
stated this. His mother's name is Sumayya, and his father's name is Yasir.
After embracing Islam, Hazrat Sumayya, the mother of Hazrat Ammar,
was viciously attacked by Abu Jahl; nonetheless, she did not reject her
beliefs. Thus, she became the first Muslim martyr. Hazrat Ammar
and his father were made to lie on scorching, rocky ground as they endured
excruciating pain that disrupted their senses. When the oppressors of Makkah had
thrown Hazrat Ammar into the flames, the Holy Prophet lifted
his hands and prayed, "O Flames, cool down on Ammar and be safe as you
cooled down on Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
It is
now evident that Hazrat Ammar was one of those companions who
was subjected to severe repression and persecution at the hands of Makkah's tyrants.
But see how calmly he imparts knowledge in his talks. He is educating people on
how to promote peace. It is clear from Hazrat Ammar's
aforementioned statement that Islam, which has taught the development of peace
across the world, cannot ever teach terrorism. As a result, it must be
emphasized that individuals who support terrorism in the name of Islam are in
no way genuine Muslims.
One of
the things that make one's belief perfect, in the opinion of Hazrat Ammar,
is having a sense of fairness within oneself. Why is that relevant? The person
with an interior sense of justice is the one who genuinely establishes justice
in the truest sense. It is implied that nothing should stand in the way of
justice, even pressure, fear, love, or other human emotions. Allah will reward
anybody who upholds justice in its purest form.
Anyone
with a genuine sense of justice rejects emotional behaviour, and such a person
is only concerned with establishing justice and fairness. He is unconcerned by
any relationship, pressure, or fear while doing justice. His sole objective is
to uphold justice. By doing this, he simultaneously upholds two rights—the
rights of Allah and those of people, which are fundamental Islamic teachings.
This
education also includes educating people on how to spread peace not just
verbally but also through their actions and moral character.
The
third education is then to spend money in Allah's way while being poor. Islam
is a religion of humanity and compassion, as can be seen by taking this into
consideration. Islam says that we should help the poor, the needy, and the
vulnerable. Money spent on those in need is truly money spent in Allah's way.
The essence of this message makes it clear that Allah Almighty loves these
people in need so much that He considers anyone who provides for their needs to
be a spender in His own cause.
