Slogans Eulogising Yazeed by Sunni Muslims in Pakistan Evoke Protests by Indian Muslims in Delhi

During and
after Yaum-e-Ashura, when the world Muslims were mourning the martyrdom of the
grandson of the Holy Prophet Hadhrat Imam Hussain Alaihissalam and other
ahl-e-Bayt, some Sunni organisations and Ulema of Pakistan were taking part in
processions organised by terrorist and militant organisations Sipah-e-Sahaba
and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi in Karachi, Lahore and other towns of Pakistan raising
slogans like "Ameer Yazid Zindabad"(Long live leader of Muslims
Yazid).
Ironically,
government representatives like the Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Muneebur
Rahman also participated along with terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba and
Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. This hurt the religious sentiments of the Shia and Sunni
Muslims worldwide. To condemn this un-Islamic and anti-Ahl-Bayt tradition started
and promoted by Pakistan, the members and representatives of various
organisations of Muslims of India organised a protest march on Saturday in
Delhi, India. The protest was participated by eminent Supreme Court Lawyer
Mahmood Pracha, Shia leader Maulana Kalb-Jawad, General Secretary of
Anjuman-e-Haidary Bahadur Abbas, Sajjada Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, Naib
Sajjada Nashin of Dargah Hadhrat Nizamul Auliya Syed Farid Nizami and other
prominent personalities of Shia and Sunni Muslims of India.
They demanded
that the Pakistan embassy in India should be closed and Pakistan should be
declared a terrorist country as not only it promotes intra-Muslim hatred and
violence, it has also been promoting terrorism in the world particularly in
Kashmir by sending its mercenaries there. Mr Mahmood Pracha said that the very
idea of Pakistan was a failed idea and that Pak embassy in India should be
closed. Maulana Kalb-Jawad said that the self-proclaimed Islamic country
Pakistan's support to Yazid is condemnable because Yazid martyred Imam Hussain
(Alaihissalam) and the Ahl-e-Bayt. He said that the terrorist organisations of
Pakistan, Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-Jhangvi brought out processions in support
of Yazid and slogans like "Yazid Zindabad" were raised under Pakistan
government's full protection. He demanded that eulogising Yazid should be
considered blasphemy and should be banned in Muslim countries. He said that
Pakistan government had been sending terrorists in different countries and
promoting terrorism in the world. He further said that Pakistan was responsible
for terrorism in Kashmir. Imam Juma Dargah Shah Mardan Maulana Talub Hussain
wondered which deen (religion) Pakistan followed as no Muslim eulogises the
killers of Ahl-e-Bayt ( the sacred family of the holy prophet PBUH).
It should
be noted that currently, Pakistan is struggling to come out of the grey list of
the FATF and for that it has been asked by the FATF to take 27 steps including
action against terrorists and terrorist organisations in the country. But
unfortunately, Pakistan is not only not taking action against the terrorist
organisations it had provided them government protection while they have been
indulging in militant and extremist activities in Pakistan. With this situation, it seems difficult for Pakistan to be removed from the 'Grey List'.
