The Semitic Beliefs, Esp. The Mullish And Most
Unscientific Beliefs Of Islam, Quran, Hadees, Sunnah Will Make Any Sane Person
Bang His Head Against The Wall
----
" Dharmacharan
Satyamev Idmittham, Itthambhootam Anami Roopk Iti Satyam Vyakti Saapeksham. "
(Religious
truths are relative, a scripture is an allegory and all its characters are
mythical).
V S
Sukhthankar, in the prelude to 'On the meaning of the Mahabharata'
" Est
Men Korda Ben'eplie De Menta Dogmas Eb Humane. "
(Read and
understand the Bible as a mere creation of humans)
Reuben A
Torrey, ' The authenticity of the Bible '
" Tena
Phin Religie Demeris Oqueta Ken Rosen Scripta. "
(All
scriptures are man-made and theological elements are incorporated later)
H Laldintluanga, 'Zairema's approach to the
Bible: A theological appraisal' " The most stupid thing humans, esp.
Muslims, indulge in is believing in characters like Gabriel, Adam etc. and
phenomena such as hereafter, heaven, hell and whatnots...."
Salman
Rushdie
"
Zarathushtra is an idea, a prototype of god/s to come and be INVENTED by
subsequent human generations."
Shrikant G
Talageri, " The Rigveda and the Avesta: The Final evidence"
I quoted
all the abovementioned scholars to drive home the point that while all believed
that scriptures were allegorical and their characters were mythical and
fabricated for the sake of disciplining the primitive humans, Muslims, even the
'educated' among them, firmly believe that the imaginary characters like
Gabriel, Adam, Djinn and all that jazz did exist! Such mental bankruptcy is
indeed unthinkable.
Carl Sagan
once said, 'ferret out every corner of the space and sky, you'll never see any
god and its battery of team members but to a few unevolved brains, they still
exist.' Yes, to a few unevolved brains, all these imaginary heavenly beings are
realities. To believe in such things and insist that they did exist is a
pathological state of mind. It's mental stupor.
Vivekananda,
whose birthday fell just a few days ago on Jan 12, was an out and out atheist
in the beginning who later became a believer. But that rational streak never
left him. He believed in a Vedantic Universal Consciousness sans idols,
scriptural revered characters, heavenly creatures, heaven and hell. In fact, on
this count, he even argued with his guru and mentor Ramakrishna Paramhans who
unflinchingly worshipped a deity called Kali. This is evolution. An atheist
became a believer but he didn't part ways with logic and reason and didn't see
god as a separate being, sitting in some obscure corner of the universe and
punishing humans for worshipping some other god/s on Roz-e-Hashra. The very
thought is so puerile.

God, if at
all it does exist, is purest bliss who's the sublimation of human
consciousness. It's not a separate entity or identity. It's the Oneness we're
all destined to merge in. Such a sublime idea of divinity or godhood! And in
contrast, the Semitic beliefs, esp. the Mullish and most unscientific beliefs
of Islam, Quran, Hadees, Sunnah will make any sane person bang his head against
the wall.
A majority of Muslims don't seem to fathom the
meaning and significance of allegorical symbolism. They're stuck in a 7th
century book. Sukhthankar and Dr Bimal Krishna Matilal at Oxford called Ram,
Krishna among others as 'purposeful connotational evolutions for consolidating
the burgeoning faiths.' See, both belonged to Hinduism, though the latter was
an agnostic, but they had honesty and courage of conviction to state the truth
without beating around the bush and were endowed with the rare ability to see
through all religious developments with equanimity.
But a
Muslim will fight tooth and nail to prove that all these fictitious characters
existed and his/her Quran descended from heaven in the span of 23 years. Why
such a long time and why the capricious Allah didn't send down a perfect
revealed book when Jewish were his chosen people? Why didn't he make the Bible
as an unquestionably perfect book and wait for Muhammad to reveal his most
distilled revelations in the form of the Quran? Does god believe in the theory
of chronological gradations and is also partisan like humans?
Islam will
have to come out of this asinine state of religious indoctrination to be on a
par with the civilised world. Unfortunately, Islam justifies the tag of being a
desert faith.
Lastly, I
resort to commenting in the form of a 'lifeless' essay ( a view, held by All
jealous Muslims on this forum, but correspondingly denied by all non and
ex-Muslims who separately write to me every day) because I've noticed that
readers tend to become insulting and they forget the dictum that you must
challenge the views, but refrain from challenging the individuals. Recently,
I've been noticing that most of the comments are just short of being outright
abusive and the basic decorum is being shelved.
