Reading day in and day out news and events like attempt on the life of a school-girl, Malala Yusoufzai in Pakistan, killing of Sushmita Banerjee in Kabul when she went there to live with her Afghan husband, murder of Avijit Roy and others in Dhaka for ideological differences, abduction of school-girls in Nigeria by Boko Haram and assault and rape of small Yazidi girls by IS rebels, makes news reading an annoying and perplexing business. Anti-Terrorism Conferences like this do help us raise an awareness about the terrorist goons and real culprits among the common Muslim populace who are in the darkness of all this.
However, I think, merely conferences are not the ultimate solution. There is no substance in talking of peace, secularism and pluralism to the people who lay claim on pluralism yet believe in separatism. Don't you think there is an urgent need of a genuine and living common sense and soul-searching within our society? Let us think more deeply.
Very encouraging indeed for the loud and unqualified abhorrence against terrorism and expulsion of this notion from the doctrine of Islam. One final step must be taken as recommended in these articles before one deadly suicide blast by an ISIS zealot in a sensitive place of worship triggers a massacre, which in turn will create a small pool of ISIS and a small pool of this deadly monster can create havoc in the country. :
Declare The ISIS As The Kharijites (Those Who Seceded From Islam) As This Article Demonstrates And Declares: Global SOS To The Ulema, Muftis, Intellectuals And Scholars Of Islam
The Heinous Crimes That ISIS Is Perpetrating Totally Opposed To Islam And Those Killed Fighting For ISIS May Earn Divine Wrath Instead Of Paradise And ‘Hurs’ – An SOS To All Mosque Imams
feeling ecstatic to see these Ulemas/Islamic clerics holding anti-terrorism
conference, taking pride in being Indians and calling for peaceful coexistence.
A very nice and gigantic effort for promoting peace and peaceful coexistence.
